I am a person in long term recovery. I would like to share what Haven House has done for me and what it means to me. [Haven House] is a safe place to share our feelings, fears & fellowship. I had the honor of speaking at Monday night meeting and telling my story. Yes I am a woman who has faced addiction, abuse and mental illness but these things do not define me as a woman. The way I have learned to live with or overcome these things & my walk with God through it, those are defining moments. Knowing the grace & love God has for me, those are moments I love to share about & Haven House has given me a chance to do that. The women there are shown love, understanding, grace. It is a beautiful, spit led place of face. I am lucky to have been part of it.

This resource for the community is thriving, and healing hearts through prayer, support, faith, and unconditional love. I have been blessed to have a resource to turn to and support. Nothing less than positive things are going on at the Monday Night Haven House Dinner/Story. I have heard stories from several women who have their lives enriched through HAVEN HOUSE. Haven House is a blessing to families, individuals, and those who support them. Clearly this resource is directly impacting our community one heart at a time. My healing consists of loss of my son to suicide, loss of family members to addiction, loss of self, loss of faith. All these have been restored by the support and encouragement of Haven House staff, and residents.

The haven house is a very blessed, warm, happy, helpful and amazing home of women. A time to get together and talk, to comfort and make positive changes everyone. The love you feel when you walk in the haven house is strong and forever changing.
